I found them because Chris Motionless mentioned in an interview that they tour together, and both bands are good friends, so I thought I'd check them out.
I was not disappointed at all. I think they are the perfect picture of metalcore. Everything in their music is what metalcore should be.
I only know their newest album well because I discovered them very recently.
So, I'll just talk about that album.
Get What You Give
It came out in 2012, so it proves that they are at their best. I wanna see them live super bad, and I'm hoping to this summer or fall.
Engine 45
This was the first GI song I ever heard, and it gave me a clear view of what they're like. My favorite thing about this album is how in many of the choruses, the vocals are layered so they're sung, but there's screaming layered on top of it. It makes it sound so cool.
Dark Horse
This is my favorite GI song ever. The chorus is just unf. Lyrics make it good, too. If you wanna hear the best GI song there is, listen to this one.
Really, all the songs here are super duper good, so just listen to it.
TGI has 2 other earlier albums, but I haven't really listened to them yet.
